Responsibilities for Accounts Manager in Kenya

• Responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight within the Finance Division to ensure effective financial management and compliance with established regulations and standards. • The role includes leading the accounts payable function, ensuring efficient processing of payments, proper documentation, and adherence to internal controls. The Accounts Manager will also oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring that the Corporation meets all statutory obligations while mitigating tax risks through proactive strategies.
• Another key duty is managing corporate assets, ensuring proper recording, safeguarding, and disposal in line with regulatory requirements. The Accounts Manager will coordinate internal and external audits, facilitate audit processes, and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations to strengthen financial controls.
