Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, clinical examinations, and medical assessments.

- Participate in ward rounds alongside multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families regarding disease prevention and healthy lifestyles.
- Counsel patients on treatment adherence and long-term disease management.

- Utilize Health Management Information Systems efficiently for patient records.

- Report adverse events, medical incidents, and safety concerns promptly.
- Support implementation of hospital clinical governance policies.

- Supervise medical interns and junior clinical staff where assigned.

- Apply Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support skills when required.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from a recognized university. Candidates must be fully registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council and hold a valid practicing license. Completion of at least one year of internship in a recognized public or private healthcare facility is mandatory. Applicants must possess valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Strong knowledge of clinical diagnosis, patient management, healthcare regulations, medical ethics, infection prevention practices, documentation standards, and healthcare reporting procedures is required. Proficiency in Health Management Information Systems and general computer applications is essential.
