Job Description

A well-established hospitality organization is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Food & Beverage Operations Manager to lead the overall management of its food, beverage, restaurant, bar, banquet, and event service operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for all restaurant, lounge, bar, banquet, conference, and catering operations while maintaining exceptional guest service standards across every service outlet.
  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and supervise daily food and beverage activities to ensure smooth operations and outstanding customer experiences.
  • Develop operational plans that improve efficiency, productivity, service consistency, and overall departmental performance.
  • Lead restaurant teams in delivering prompt, courteous, professional, and personalized guest service during every shift.
  • Oversee beverage operations, ensuring accurate stock management, proper storage procedures, licensing compliance, and responsible beverage service.
  • Coordinate food and beverage services for conferences, weddings, corporate meetings, banquets, and special events while ensuring flawless execution.
  • Establish measurable service standards and continuously monitor compliance through routine operational inspections.
  • Review operational performance reports and introduce improvement initiatives based on customer feedback, financial performance, and service evaluations.
  • Supervise purchasing activities to ensure quality products are sourced at competitive prices while maintaining supplier relationships.
  • Implement effective inventory management systems that reduce wastage, prevent stock losses, and improve accountability.
  • Monitor food and beverage cost percentages and implement corrective measures to maintain approved financial targets.
  • Prepare, manage, and monitor departmental budgets while identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Analyze sales trends and develop innovative promotional campaigns that increase restaurant and beverage revenue.
  • Collaborate with culinary leadership to evaluate menu performance, optimize pricing strategies, and introduce attractive seasonal offerings.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, coach, and evaluate supervisors and frontline employees to improve productivity and service excellence.
  • Conduct regular staff performance reviews and recommend development opportunities that strengthen individual capabilities.
  • Promote teamwork, employee engagement, accountability, and a positive workplace culture throughout the department.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly using professional service recovery techniques that strengthen customer loyalty.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, occupational health requirements, and hospitality policies.
  • Conduct routine quality assurance inspections covering food presentation, cleanliness, beverage quality, and service standards.
  • Ensure all operational records, inventory reports, financial documentation, and performance reports remain accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor Point of Sale transactions and ensure proper cash handling procedures are consistently followed.
  • Support marketing initiatives designed to attract new customers and encourage repeat business.
  • Evaluate competitor activities and industry developments to recommend improvements that strengthen market competitiveness.
  • Prepare regular operational reports highlighting departmental achievements, challenges, and recommended solutions.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests to ensure restaurant facilities, kitchen equipment, and service areas remain fully operational.
  • Encourage innovation by identifying new opportunities that improve guest experiences and operational performance.
  • Maintain excellent communication with senior management regarding departmental progress and strategic priorities.
  • Support sustainability initiatives that reduce waste, improve resource utilization, and promote environmentally responsible hospitality practices.
  • Perform additional management responsibilities assigned by senior leadership in support of organizational objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements
